Northern Colorado's premier indoor gun range is seeking to hire one full-time firearm sales associate. The sales staff member’s most important job is to provide the best customer service in the industry to each and every customer who enters our facility. Candidates must be able to multi-task and prioritize while always maintaining positive customer interactions. Firearm knowledge is required. Evening and weekend availability is required.
Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a background check, fingerprinting, and drug test.
Firearm Sales Associate responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Consistently demonstrate the standards of Employee Conduct and General Duties of Every LFI Employee, as found in this manual
- Provide friendly and professional customer service on the sales floor and on the telephone
- Promote safe handling of firearm manipulation
- Work together to keep all areas of the retail floor staffed. Continued contact from staff will help deter customer theft.
- Be determined to learn the location, price, and operation of all products and services offered
- Work as a team member and call upon the knowledge and expertise of managers, or other employees to assist you when you have questions about the location, price, or operation of any product or service
- Carry a facility radio at all times and use it properly and professionally for store business
- Stock and back-stock products accurately in the proper location according to the store bin tag number. If an employee does not know the proper location, they must request assistance from a manager.
- Front and face products consistently throughout the store
- Note the necessity for changes in prices or bin tags and print the proper tag
- Be familiar with distributors and be able to accurately record and process any requests for special orders and understand how to price orders
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
- Answer any customer questions or concerns about purchasing a firearm
- Maintain complete accuracy on all BATFE forms, whether electronic or paper
- Understand the procedures for, and assist customers with consignments, trades, layaways, and NFA items
- Be able to assist customers in the archery department with rentals
- Provide tours of the facility to customers, as needed
- Arrange any personal schedule changes through the General Manager
- Participate in employee training as required
- Attend and participate in all required meetings
- Perform any other responsibility requested by Managers, the General Manager or Owners
