American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery (L&D) position in Marble Falls, TX, requiring 2+ years of L&D experience and an active TX RN license.

13-week travel contract in a hospital Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit
-
LDRP experience is highly preferred
-
Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12s), with arrival to the unit by 6:40 PM and ready to report at 6:45 PM

Weekend shifts are required
-
On-call is possible
-
Patient ratios follow AWHONN (A1) standards

Navy blue scrubs required

Active TX RN license or compact license with TX privilege required

Current BLS (AHA only), ACLS, and NRP certifications required

Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience required

STABLE certification preferred but not required

2 professional references required

Flu vaccination is mandatory; no exemptions are accepted

DOB and SSN required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; no local travelers are accepted

Responsibilities include clinical assessment, individualized care planning, patient and family education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and advocacy across the Labor & Delivery continuum

Candidates who have previously worked as a permanent employee at any facility within this health system may have restricted eligibility
