Position Summary
The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership, coordination, and oversight of nursing operations throughout the hospital during assigned shifts. This role ensures high-quality patient care, adherence to regulatory standards, and effective staffing and resource management. The Nursing Supervisor serves as a clinical and administrative resource to nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate or Bachelor’s degree required; BSN preferred).

Minimum of 3–5 years of recent acute care nursing experience.

Prior leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred.

Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.

BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required.

ACLS Certification (American Heart Association) required.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Sound clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of hospital operations, staffing models, and regulatory standards.

Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and hospital information systems.

Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the hospital for extended periods.

Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.

Flexible schedule able to work both Day and Night, as needed. Weekends as needed.
