American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Critical Care Unit position requiring 2 years of nursing experience, ICU background, and a WI or compact RN license.
-
Acuity adaptable critical care unit — not a traditional pure ICU setting
-
Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
-
Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
-
Patient population includes post-cath patients requiring specialized monitoring and intervention
-
CRRT, balloon pump, and Swan-Ganz catheter experience utilized in this unit
-
Competency in sheath pulls required
-
Epic EMR used
-
Floating may be required within skill set, either to other units onsite or to facilities within 40 miles
-
Active WI RN license or compact RN license required
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be AHA-issued)
-
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
-
ICU experience required, including experience with post-cath patients
-
CRRT, balloon pump, and Swan-Ganz experience a plus
-
Competency in sheath pulls required

Prior travel nursing experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address

Two professional references required for consideration

Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Full Social Security Number and full date of birth required for consideration

Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start date

Primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start date

Any disciplinary actions on license will require completion of a FACIS Questionnaire

Local candidates are accepted, though a radius rule applies that may affect the pay rate depending on distance from the facility
