Tree Limin' Extreme Zipline is seeking enthusiastic and qualified candidates to join our team as Zipline Tour Guides at our park on the beautiful island of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.
For over 14 years, Tree Limin’ Extreme has been thrilling adventurous guests with safe, fun, and unforgettable zipline experiences.
Position Summary
We are looking for individuals who are physically fit, professional, safety-focused, and committed to delivering excellent guest service. The ideal candidate has customer service experience, preferably in recreation, tourism, or another fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
As a Zipline Tour Guide, you’ll create memorable guest experiences by ensuring safety, sharing local knowledge, and keeping the adventure fun and engaging.
Essential Job Functions
- Work closely with team members to deliver a safe and enjoyable guest experience in line with Tree Limin’ Extreme standards
- Conduct all course operations in accordance with zipline safety procedures and protocols
- Fit harnesses and helmets correctly, supervise guest use of all equipment, and conduct safety briefings/orientations
- Lead guests through the zipline course while engaging them with fun and educational commentary about local ecology, geology, history, and culture
- Complete daily inspections of gear and course components
- Assist with course maintenance as needed
- Hike, climb, rappel, and zipline alongside team members and guests through the rainforest canopy
- Take photos of guests during their zipline experience
Physical Requirements
- Due to essential physical requirements of the role, applicants must be at least 5'4" in height and weigh less than 275 lbs to safely perform job duties
- Ability to lift at least 40 lbs
- Comfortable hiking, climbing, and rappelling
- Must not be afraid of heights
- Full range of arm motions and hand dexterity
- Strong upper body strength to pull self and, if necessary, assist a guest
- Positive, energetic, and fun personality
Requirements
- MUST be available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
- Minimum age: 19 years
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Previous customer service experience required; recreation/tourism experience preferred
- Team-oriented attitude with a strong focus on professionalism and safety
