American Traveler is hiring an experienced OB/L&D RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring MN RN licensure and competency across the full maternal care continuum.

- 3x12 day/night shift schedule with every other weekend or third weekend commitment

Day shift hours 7:00 AM 7:30 PM, night shift hours 7:00 PM 7:30 AM

Requires competency across Antepartum, OB Triage, Labor and Delivery, Nursery, and Post-Partum units

Holiday coverage required as needed by facility

Active Minnesota RN license in hand or proof of Minnesota license application required at time of consideration

Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)

AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred

Minimum 1 year of RN experience with strong OB background
-
Skilled in postpartum care including couplet care and postpartum hemorrhage management
-
Experience with antepartum care and procedures, NST, obstetrical triage, and fetal monitoring
-
Ability to recognize and treat abnormal fetal heart rate patterns using external fetal monitoring
-
MedSurg experience is an additional asset

Candidates must live more than 25 miles from the facility to be considered

Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler

Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
-
All RTO requests must be disclosed and approved prior to starting the assignment
-
Required lab work must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
-
Minnesota state law requires in-person Livescan fingerprinting completed on the Monday prior to the scheduled start date, applicable to both MN and non-MN residents

Travelers are responsible for arranging and covering costs associated with fingerprinting

First-time travelers are not specified as accepted or excluded for this role
