Director of Clinical Services
H2 Homecare is an Atlanta-based pediatric homecare company seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Clinical Services to lead our clinical department and ensure exceptional patient care across all service lines. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, supervising clinical staff, and ensuring patients receive high-quality, compassionate care while maintaining full compliance with all state, federal, and company standards.
This position blends hands-on clinical involvement with strong leadership responsibilities. The Director of Clinical Services will supervise and support RN Case Managers and clinical staff, oversee patient care coordination, and maintain accountability for clinical quality, documentation, and compliance. This individual will play a key role in shaping team culture, supporting staff development, and ensuring continuity of care for medically complex pediatric patients.
The ideal candidate is a compassionate and highly organized Registered Nurse with pediatric homecare experience, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to clinical excellence. This role is essential in guiding both patient care and clinical staff performance while helping drive the continued growth and success of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and support RN Case Managers and clinical staff
- Conduct monthly in-home patient visits to assess care needs and ensure quality of care
- Oversee and coordinate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians, caregivers, and families
- Ensure compliance with company policies, GAPP requirements, state regulations, and clinical standards
- Review, approve, and monitor clinical documentation, admissions, and care updates
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations of clinical staff
- Provide clinical leadership and support for complex patient cases
- Serve as a clinical resource for staff, patients, and families
- Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with scheduling and operations teams to ensure appropriate staffing and continuity of care
- Participate in on-call clinical support as needed
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of pediatric home care experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of home care experience required
- Preferred: 2 years of GAPP experience
- Previous management or clinical leadership experience required
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and support both staff and patient needs
