Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Wholesale House Truck Driver to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods from our warehouse to various wholesale customers, ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service. Your expertise in commercial driving, route planning, and handling heavy loads will help us maintain smooth operations and satisfied clients. Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmission to deliver products to wholesale clients
- Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques while adhering to safety standards
- Plan efficient delivery routes to meet scheduling demands and optimize fuel usage
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring accurate deliveries and addressing client needs professionally
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain detailed records of deliveries, load documentation, and route logs
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, organizing stock, and supporting team members as needed
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with <PERSON> driver or courier roles preferred
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or heavy truck operator with a focus on route driving and customer service
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification is a plus
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with warehouse staff and clients
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
