Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler/ 2yr old Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a love for working with young children and the ability to create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment. This role is essential in fostering the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Lead Toddler/ 2yr old Teacher will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curriculum and ensuring that each child receives the attention they need to thrive.

Having your C.D.A is a bonus! Starting pay is $12.00+ with C.D.A + 2yrs experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety and Supervision: Constantly monitor 2yrs olds to ensure their safety during all activities, both indoors and outdoors.
- Care-giving Tasks: Attend to students basic needs, including feeding and maintaining proper hygiene.
- Developmental Activities: Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical development.
- Observation and Assessment: Regularly observe and document each students progress, noting milestones and any areas of concern to share with parents or guardians.
- Parental Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, providing daily updates on their child's activities, progress, and any concerns.
- Classroom Environment: Ensure that the Toddler 2 room is clean, organized, and equipped with appropriate materials and toys that support learning and development.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required; however, a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus.
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certifications are essential. Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience working with children ages 2 and up in a childcare setting is highly desirable.

- Patience and Compassion: A nurturing demeanor to care for the students needs effectively.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Observational Skills: Keen attention to detail to monitor developmental milestones and behaviors.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift students if needed, engage in activities, and remain active throughout the day.
An effective Lead Toddler/ 2yr old Teacher is dedicated to fostering a nurturing and educational environment, ensuring each students growth and well-being during these critical early years.
