Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of technical skills and experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including programmable logic controllers.
Units can be in conditions left by tenants with roaches and very
- Repair and maintain air conditioners, plumbing, electrical, windows and other building related work,
- Help get units ready for new tenants.
- Units can be left in a condition that is full of roaches and not sanitary. Don't expect super clean units that you will always work in.
- Oversee residential painting projects sometimes doing drywall repairs and painting.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff and clients.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing maintenance tasks.Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong mechanical background.
- HVAC experience is preferable.
- Proficiency in electrical systems for buildings.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to speak Spanish is not required but desired.
- Willing to work in the heat.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
