Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, energetic and welcoming Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for our guests. The shift that we are looking to fill will be 3 days on the 3pm-11pm shift and 2 days on the 7am-3pm shift. In this dynamic role, you will deliver exceptional guest services, manage front desk operations, and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression of the hotel or resort
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using hotel management software
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and a friendly attitude
- Operate multi-line phone systems to answer reservations, inquiries, and coordinate services
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details
- Assist with night audit responsibilities to ensure financial accuracy at the end of each shift
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette and guest relations standards at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and reservation software
- Experience with night audit procedures is highly desirable
- Exceptional communication skills, including phone etiquette and multi-line phone system handling
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks efficiently
