Job Summary
As our Bookkeeper / Office Manager, you will be responsible for managing the firm’s financial records, day-to-day office operations, and administrative support. You will work closely with attorneys and staff to ensure accurate financial reporting, efficient office systems, and strong organizational support. This full-time, in-person position offers competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications (DOEQ), along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, invoicing, expense tracking, and financial reporting
- Process payroll, maintain employee records, and assist with benefits administration
- Prepare monthly financial statements and support tax preparation and audits
- Oversee office administration: order supplies, coordinate with vendors, manage facilities, and maintain office equipment
- Organize and maintain physical and digital files, case-related financial records, and confidential documents
- Track and record billable hours and client expenses in coordination with attorneys
- Support attorneys and staff with administrative tasks, client communications, and general office needs
- Ensure compliance with accounting best practices and firm policies
- Perform additional related duties as needed to support firm operations
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and colleagues
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proven time management skills and ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving capabilities, especially with numbers and financial data
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, occasionally high-pressure environment
- High level of integrity to maintain strict confidentiality, exercise discretion, and use sound judgment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and accounting software (QuickBooks experience strongly preferred)
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred
- Prior bookkeeping or office management experience required (legal or professional services environment is a plus)
- Experience with payroll, financial reporting, and office administration

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk while working on a computer
- Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds
