Overview:
The Los Angeles, California office of Kaufman Dolowich is a full-service National Law firm with more than 250 attorneys across 16 offices and over 25 practice areas. We are actively seeking a Paralegal with 3+ years of experience to work directly with our attorneys to prepare for upcoming cases and get involved in fact-finding projects.

Responsibilities

Partner with attorneys to develop legal arguments, motions, and key case filings

Conduct in-depth research and analyzing case materials to support litigation strategy

Draft and manage discovery, including Requests for Production, Interrogatories, and Requests for Admissions

Prepare trial and arbitration binders, organizing exhibits, and supporting deposition preparation

Review and manage document productions, including redaction and Bates stamping

Draft preservation of evidence and document request letters

Coordinate medical record collection, process HIPAA authorizations, and summarize records for case use

Support overall case management and contribute to a high-performing legal team

Other duties, as needed, to support the firm and office operations
Qualifications

3+ years of Employment Litigation experience, including PAGA matters

Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills

A certification from organizations such as American Bar Association, National Association of Legal Assistants, or American Alliance of Paralegals

Experience with legal technology such as NetDocuments and Westlaw

A sharp eye for detail and the ability to analyze legal documents with accuracy

A proactive mindset with the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive, team-focused attitude

Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $110,000
