Facilities Manager (Commercial Real Estate)
About the Role
Lead facilities operations across a group of properties, manage a team, and directly oversee select sites. You'll own maintenance, budgets, safety, and sustainability - and help the client get the most value from their real estate.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree (business, real estate, or related) or 5-7 years equivalent experience
- CPM/RPA credentials a plus
- 5-7+ years leading facilities teams (office, lab, industrial, or data center)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and people-management skills
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office; Tririga, SAP, Oracle, or ADP a plus
What You'll Be Doing
- Run day-to-day maintenance and facilities operations
- Manage and support your team, including reviews and coaching
- Track performance against KPIs; deliver monthly reports
- Build and manage budgets; oversee vendor contracts and RFPs
- Lead safety (EH&S) programs and incident response
- Partner with engineering on preventative maintenance
- Support construction, relocation, and capital projects
- Identify cost savings and energy-efficiency opportunities
- Oversee vendors for mail, cafeteria, and pantry services
- Step in for other managers as needed.
Salary Range Language
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package (including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k)-retirement plan with employer matching), this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
