Position Summary
We are seeking a Business Development Analyst to support our sales and consulting teams by analyzing customer requirements, evaluating business opportunities, and developing data-driven recommendations. This role serves as a bridge between clients, suppliers, sales professionals, and technical teams to ensure business solutions meet customer needs and business objectives. The ideal candidate is analytical, customer-focused, and passionate about improving business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze customer business requirements for the robotics industry and other AI business projects.
- Develop and evaluate business processes and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Conduct financial analyses and modeling, including return on investment (ROI) and cost-benefit analyses, to support customer proposals.
- Collaborate with suppliers, sales representatives, consultants, and engineering teams to develop customized automation solutions.
- Research industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging robotics and AI technologies to support business development.
- Analyze sales performance, customer demand, and supplier data to identify growth opportunities and financial forecasting.
- Prepare business cases, proposals, reports, dashboards, and executive presentations for customers and senior management.
- Track project performance, customer satisfaction, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support product launches, pricing strategies, and supplier relationship management.
- Recommend process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Develop and create data models to support decision-making.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Two or more years of experience in business analysis, sales operations, consulting, supply chain, or technology-related roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred
- Master's degree in Business Analytics, MBA, or a related field.
- Experience in robotics, industrial automation, manufacturing, or technology consulting.
- Knowledge of data programming or financial modeling.
- Experience with ERP systems and supply chain processes.
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
