Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Vacation Rentals Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day management of our vacation rental properties. In this pivotal role, you will oversee property operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and coordinate maintenance and administrative functions. Your leadership will drive operational efficiency, uphold compliance with housing regulations, and foster positive relationships with property owners and guests alike. Duties
- Manage the full lifecycle of vacation rental properties, including leasing, maintenance coordination, and guest relations
- Oversee property listings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Fair Housing regulations and local laws
- Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and facilities management to uphold high standards of quality and safety
- Handle legal administrative processes related to lease agreements, contracts, and landlord-tenant law compliance
- Utilize property management software such as Cloudbeds and Breezeway to track occupancy, reservations, and financial transactions
- Resolve conflicts between guests or property owners promptly through effective conflict management strategies
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure properties meet safety standards and cleanliness requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management, leasing, or real estate administrative roles with a focus on vacation rentals or residential properties
- Familiarity with property management systems like Cloudbeds, Breezeway, or comparable platforms
- Excellent customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and relationship management abilities
- Experience in legal administrative tasks including contracts, lease negotiations, and landlord-tenant law
- Ability to handle conflict resolution effectively while maintaining positive relationships with clients and team members
- Office experience with data entry, filing, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and facilities management tools
- Demonstrated negotiation skills for upselling services or amenities to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue streams
