Duties

- Provide physical assistance and behavioral support to students with disabilities or special education needs, including those on the autism spectrum or with developmental disabilities.
- Support students during classroom activities, including childcare routines, toddler care, and preschool programs, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Use effective behavior management techniques to support students with behavioral disorders and promote positive social interactions.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Assist in classroom management by maintaining a structured environment conducive to learning and supporting students’ emotional well-being.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff while handling confidential information responsibly.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in educational settings such as private schools, preschool programs, or early childhood classrooms.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and experience supporting students with disabilities or special education needs.
- Background in teaching, literacy education, basic math, curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom support in special education environments.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while collaborating effectively with educators and specialists.
- Strong organizational skills combined with patience, flexibility, and a passion for fostering inclusive learning experiences for all students.
