OVERVIEW
The Parts Coordinator serves as the central point of contact for managing furniture parts, service orders, and repair logistics. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse and office environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Correspondence & Prioritization
- Review daily emails and voicemails to identify urgent, same-day service needs
- Prioritize tasks to ensure timely response and resolution of service issues
Parts Management & Ordering
- Research and order parts through ERP, ensuring accuracy of all product details (SKU, serial number, etc.)
- Communicate with manufacturers regarding part availability, warranties, and estimated timelines
- Resolve incorrect shipments by reordering parts and documenting discrepancies with photos
Service Coordination
- Process Reports to identify merchandise requiring service or missing parts
- Create and manage “In Shop” and “In Home” service orders for warehouse inventory and customer-owned goods
- Maintain a target turnaround time of 10 days for customer-owned goods repairs
Reporting & Documentation
- Review technician updates in Dispatch Track to determine service status (completed, parts needed, or non-repairable)
- Maintain detailed and accurate notes in Storis audit logs for all customer interactions and order updates
Customer & Vendor Relations
- Communicate with customers to provide service updates and manage expectations
- Process labor charges and collect payments for non-warranty repairs
- Submit and manage warranty credit claims through vendor portals
Warehouse Safety & Support
- Verify part arrivals in the warehouse
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of harnesses and lanyards
REQUIREMENTS
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Storis, Dispatch Track, and Google Suites preferred
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage and follow up on multiple orders with consistent tracking (every 3 days)
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when handling product data, serial numbers, and order documentation

Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.56 - $19.89 per hour
