SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Inside Sales Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between the Customer and the Company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Enters Request For Quote (RFQ) into the estimating system; uses estimate results to generate a quote letter to the Customer.
2. Checks all documents submitted by the Customer for accuracy (PO's, specifications, drawings, etc.)
3. Enters the Customer's purchase order (PO) into the system. Creates order wire and distributes documents to necessary departments (technology, machine shop, press forge, accounting, etc.)
4. Track status of orders.
5. Maintains a filing system of all order documents and drawings.
6. Performs material adjustments on orders if applicable (dependent on month of melting).
7. Submit any necessary procedures for approval to customer and keep log of acceptance.
8. Participates in various sales and production meetings.
9. Establish and track freight movements of finished components.
10. Interact with shop floor personnel to track status of jobs and understand operational conditions and associated equipment.
11. Determine third party and/or outsource requirements, obtain relevant quotes, implement POs, and track status.
12. Implement packaging requirements and documentation on finished components for both domestic and international shipping.
13. Maintains order execution and gross margin reports.
14. Participate in other special projects for the department.
15. Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience: A 4-year bachelor’s degree (BSE) or a related engineering degree with three to five (3-5) years of experience in the forging, foundry, heat treatment, etc. and/or machining experience, or 10 years of related experience.
US citizenship is Required.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS/SCOPE:
Contacts are typically with individuals both internally and externally of the organization and involve obtaining and/or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation. There is no responsibility for this position to supervise others.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The work environment is primarily an office setting with some industrial manufacturing exposure, including high temperatures and moderate noise levels. Proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required during certain operations.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
