CNC Machinist
About the Role
We're looking for a CNC Machinist to join our team and help produce high-quality parts using our CNC equipment. This role is a great fit for someone with hands-on machining experience who is comfortable operating and setting up CNC machines. You don't need to be a programming expert — we're more interested in your attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and willingness to learn.
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or similar equipment) to produce parts according to specifications
- Load and unload materials, tools, and fixtures
- Monitor machine operation during production runs and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished parts using basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or work orders
- Troubleshoot minor issues that come up during production
- Work with existing programs and make simple adjustments when needed (no need to write programs from scratch)
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to keep production on schedule
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with CNC machines or a strong mechanical background
- Ability to read basic technical drawings or blueprints
- Comfortable using hand tools and measuring instruments
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn new equipment and processes
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [X] lbs
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
- Experience with G-code or manual programming
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
