Job Overview
Our team at Wiederhoeft Manufacturing have an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Estimator. This team member will be responsible for receiving RFQ’s, analyzing the RFQ to ensure that production processes are feasible and align with the company, this will require working with other areas of management. Create accurate cost estimates using quoting software and send out completed quotes to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation; Prepare cost estimates for new and repeat projects using Paperless Parts, and send quotes back to Clients.
- Project Analysis; Review proposals and identify if they fit our production time, labor and equipment.
- Collaboration; Work with engineers and clients to make the project feasible.
- Data Entry & ERP Use; Enter in process into Paperless , update estimates as projects evolve.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in either Manufacturing or Finance
- Or 5 plus years of experience
Required Skills:
- Must be able to read prints.
- Proficiency with cost estimation software.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
