Senior Project Manager – Multi-Family
Location: Los Angeles, CA | San Diego, CA and surrounding cities
Position Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead all project management functions on complex multi-family residential construction projects. The Senior Project Manager will be the primary point of contact for the Owner and will oversee the full project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Owner and client relationship manager throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead preconstruction efforts including buyout, scope development, and subcontractor selection
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
- Oversee contract administration including subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals
- Collaborate with the Senior Superintendent to ensure schedule adherence and field execution
- Manage monthly pay applications, billing, and cash flow projections
- Identify and manage project risks; develop mitigation strategies
- Mentor Project Managers and Project Engineers
- Lead OAC meetings and provide executive-level project reporting
- Oversee project closeout including as-builts, O&M manuals, and warranty documentation
Qualifications
- 10+ years of construction project management experience with a strong focus on multi-family residential projects
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects ranging from $20M to $100M+
- Expertise in contract administration, cost management, and schedule control
- Proficiency in Procore, Sage, Timberline, or similar construction management platforms
- Strong client relationship and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- PMP or CCM certification a plus
Pay: $160,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
