Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle repair and maintenance, with a strong focus on diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, perform routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, tires and inspections), use diagnostic tools and equipment. This role involves working on a variety of vehicles, and requires understanding of automotive engines, transmissions, suspensions and steering systems. The successful applicant will be committed to delivering high-quality repairs efficiently while maintaining safety standards and excellent customer and team interactions.
Skills
- Proven experience or extensive automotive repair background.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques.
- Valid CDL driver's license.
- Owns basic tools (preferred).
- Ability to operate a forklift (we will train).
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to perform oil changes, tire services (including alignment), suspension work (shocks & struts), brake repair, wheel balancing, and auto body repair tasks.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
