Job Summary
We are hiring 10 experienced Low Voltage / Structured Cabling Technicians for a multiple-month commercial project in Clayton, NC.
Technicians will support the installation of Category 6A structured cabling, including rough-in, routing, termination, testing, labeling, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Install and route CAT6A structured cabling
- Perform cable rough-in through existing pathways
- Pull, route, dress, and organize cable
- Terminate and test CAT6A cabling
- Label cables and maintain accurate documentation
- Follow project specifications and installation standards
- Work safely and efficiently as part of a structured cabling crew
- Perform aerial/lift work as required
REQUIRED Qualifications
- OSHA 10 Certification – REQUIRED
- Current Aerial Lift Certification – REQUIRED
- Previous commercial structured cabling experience
- Experience with CAT6/CAT6A installation, termination, and testing
- Must be comfortable working from aerial lifts
- Must have required hand tools
- Must be able to pass the client's drug test and attend required orientation
Drug Test & Orientation
IMPORTANT: The client is conducting the drug test, NOT us.
- Client will send technicians to Labcorp for drug testing
- Drug test is required before starting
- All technicians must attend Novo safety orientation
Will need a Drug Test , BG, and be badged.
PPE REQUIRED
Technicians must have full PPE:
- Hard Hat
- Safety Glasses
- Work Gloves
- Steel-Toe Boots
