About Us
Four Points Property Management is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team of professional technicians. This is a temp to permanent position. We manage a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties throughout the Merrimack Valley. We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual with strong maintenance, repair, and customer service skills who takes pride in their work and the properties they care for.
Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Property Manager and be responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and overall appearance of our properties. This is a full-time position that requires initiative, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs and basic vocational tasks across multiple properties
- Conduct routine property walk-throughs and inspections
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and other mechanical equipment
- Identify and address operational, cleanliness, and safety issues
- Maintain equipment and appliances in good working order
- Handle light carpentry, painting, window cleaning, and general upkeep tasks
- Inspect and maintain drainage systems
- Assist with storm preparedness and response
- Manage seasonal setup and storage of outdoor furniture and equipment
- Perform pool and spa maintenance
- Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure high property standards
- Operate power equipment (pressure washer, lawnmower, trimmer, hedge cutter, etc.)
Qualifications & Skills
- Practical knowledge of general property maintenance and repair
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Self-starter with strong initiative, organization, and attention to detail
- Professional demeanor with excellent judgment and discretion
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and address maintenance issues proactively
- Good verbal and written communication skills (bilingual preferred but not required)
- Basic computer literacy (email, internet use)
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs
- Must pass a background check
Licensing & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
Schedule & Compensation
- Hours: Full-time, with occasional late days or on-call shifts as needed
- Pay: $20–$30 per hour, based on experience
- Work Location: On-site (not remote)
