Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems across residential and commercial. Your expertise will ensure that elctrical projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse electrical systems, including troubleshoting electrical issues, new construction wiring, remodel wiring, and completing resudential and commercial electrical service calls.
Responsibilities
- Install, modify, and repair electrical systems in resudential and commercial environments.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate wiring and system setup.
- Perform electrical wiring tasks safely in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes.
- Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose problems and verify system integrity.
- Maintain compliance with electrical safety procedures while working on energized or de-energized systems.
- Assist in the renovation or construction of new electrical installations on-site.
- Read electrical schematics and blueprints accurately to ensure proper wiring configurations for residential systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects meet deadlines while adhering to safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician with a strong background in residential and commercial work.
- Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Experience working with residential electrical installations.
- Skilled in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Familiarity with schematics reading, low voltage systems, and electrical wiring techniques.
- Ability to work safely following all electrical safety procedures while performing construction site tasks or renovations.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, power drills, frame carpentry skills preferred for certain installations or adjustments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently across diverse systems.
- Construction site experience is highly desirable for managing installation projects effectively.

Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour
