- Use cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, mops, and scrubbers to maintain floors and surfaces in pristine condition.
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or cleaning supplies safely and effectively.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain organized cleaning schedules, manage time effectively to complete tasks promptly, and ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
- Follow safety protocols related to janitorial work, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Conduct outdoor work as needed for exterior cleaning or maintenance tasks in residential environments.
- Ensure all cleaning surfaces are sanitized thoroughly, adhering to health regulations and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, including floor cleaning, carpet care, dusting, and sanitation practices.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper use of cleaning equipment.
- Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts.
- Outstanding customer service abilities with clear communication skills for client interaction.
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for exterior maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
