Duties

- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate guests about features and benefits of various items
- Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and processing refunds or exchanges
- Upsell products and services by identifying guest needs and recommending suitable options
- Maintain stock levels on the sales floor through stocking, merchandising, and organizing products for optimal presentation
- Provide bilingual support to accommodate diverse guest needs and enhance overall service quality
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments
- Assist with retail store product knowledge, ensuring guests receive accurate information about merchandise
- Support supervisory staff with training new team members or overseeing daily operations when needed
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems and retail sales transactions
- Strong supervising experience or leadership skills in a customer service environment
- Ability to conduct engaging product demos confidently and clearly
- Bilingual proficiency to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for professional guest interactions
- Skilled in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Knowledge of retail math for cash handling, balancing registers, and inventory management
- Familiarity with merchandising standards to maintain an attractive sales floor
- Basic math skills for transactions, cash drawer handling, and sales calculations
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Understanding of retail store product knowledge to assist guests accurately
