Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and foster customer loyalty
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Assist with food service when needed, including serving food items or supporting catering events like banquets or private parties
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar food service role, preferably within fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cashiering is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining high-quality service
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, sales tracking, and retail math calculations
- Previous experience in retail math, brewing, catering, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed in a fast-paced setting
