Position: Business Development Director – Defense Sector (cUAS)

Required:
- Located or willing to relocate to Texas or Viriginia / DC.
- Background with security or surveillance applications, with focus on sensors or cUAS systems.
The BD Director will be responsible for developing the assigned market for our SPYNEL panoramic Infrared cameras. The role will also require identifying new business opportunities and working with the HGH USA team to win government contracts. The BD Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet sales targets and drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow agencies within the Defense sector for security and surveillance applications related to critical infrastructure protection.
- Primary focus will be cUAS applications and specific Defense customer will be based on applicant background (ie, Army, Navy, Air Force, National Guard, etc).
- Leverage your connections to identify key stakeholders and decision makers.
- Identify and develop relationships with System Integration companies supporting this sector.
- Plan, coordinate and if needed execute product Demonstrations and Factory Acceptance Tests led by Technical Support Team.
- Become proficient in the technical application of the SPYNEL thermal imaging systems for the purpose of detecting, tracking and identifying potential threats.
- Provide direct feedback to internal stakeholders (such as Product teams) to help with the formulation of product and long-term needs.
- Use CRM system for systematically maintaining and building an active and accurate pipeline.
PROFILE
- Proven experience, at least four years in sales and business development
- Prior service preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of Defense Procurement Processes.
- Experience selling capital equipment, preferably with security / surveillance sensor solutions
- Capable of working independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Attention to detail and a sense of urgency
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and the ability to deliver impactful, targeted presentations
- Ability to travel domestically up to 40%, minimal international travel
COMPENSATION / BENEFITS:
Final base salary for this role will be based on the location, skills, experience and qualifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for bonus based on performance.
