Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Animal Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess knowledge of veterinary practices and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care and support for animals in the facility
- Assist with animal handling, restraint, and transportation
- Perform animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, grooming, and monitoring health
- Administer medications
- Maintain cleanliness of animal enclosures and facility areas
- Monitor and report any changes in animal behavior or health to the veterinary team
Requirements
- Knowledge of animal anatomy, husbandry, and veterinary terminology ( or willing to be learn )
- Proficiency in animal handling, restraint, and kennel procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions closely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
