Assembler Job Description:
PrideStaff is working with a local agricultural business who is seeking multiple Assemblers. The Assembler will perform installation and subassemblies using a variety of directions and perform quality inspections ensuring all product meets expectations. The ideal Assembler has recent experience as an assembler in a manufacturing facility, can easily interpret blueprints, manuals, and hand drawings, as well as use hand tools and work in a team environment with a positive attitude and regular punctuality. The Assembler is a full time, temp to hire in Yuba City, CA.
Assembler Job Responsibilities:
- Install & Assemble or Subassemble Parts by Reading Blueprints, Schematics or Hand Drawings
- Notify Supervisor For Guidance With Issues
- Fabricate Hydraulic Hoses as Needed
- Perform MIG Welding Tasks as Needed
- Review Work Ensuring The Highest Quality Standards Are Met
- Create & Follow Best Practice Procedures With Detailed Documentation For All Welding & Assembly
- Update Work Board Regularly & Communicate With Teammates & Supervisors
- Ensure Work Area is Cleaned & Organized According to 5-S Principles
- Maintain & Care For All Tools Assigned
- Help Teammates With Projects & Jobs as Requested
- Follow All PPE & Safety Guidelines
Assembler Job Requirements & Working Conditions:
- HS Diploma or Equivalent Required
- 1+ Years of Assembly Experience Strongly Preferred
- Must be Able to Assemble & Reassemble Parts From Small & Delicate to Large, Bulky, Heavy, or Awkward
- Must be Able to Use a Forklift & a Crane as Needed
- Must be Able to Read Manuals, Gauges, Charts, Blueprints, Schematics & Hand Drawings
- Must be Able to Identify Bolt Sizes, Grade Markings & Strengths
- Basic Understanding of Hydraulic System, Seals, Fittings, Filters, Pumps & Valves
- Can Lift up to 50lbs as Needed & 100lbs With a Team Lift
- Demonstrates The Ability Read, Write, & Communicate Clearly
- Must be Able to Work in a Team Setting & Independently
- Must Have Good Attendance & a Positive Attitude
- Demonstrates Good Dexterity & Can Use Wrenches, Screwdrivers, Impact Drills, Cutting Shears Calipers, Squares, Tape Measures & Related Hand Tools
- Must be Able to Stand, Walk, Sit, Bend, Reach, Climb, Crawl, Squat, Kneel, Bend, Lift & Carry as Well as Use Hands For Assembly
