We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to become a part of our team! You will make routine repairs and maintenance, including a preventative maintenance program for resident units and common areas.
Must be willing to work night and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to residents’ maintenance requests and execute work orders
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Respond to maintenance requests from other department heads
- Respond to emergency situations such as fire, floods, and cleaning an area after an emergency
- Respond to work orders assigned by Chief Engineer or Assistant
- Clean stations kept by maintenance personnel and are maintain daily in area of central plant, air handling rooms, and shop
- Maintain swimming pool for chemical balance and cleaning
- Assist on stoppages in entire building
- Repair broken items such as lamps, carts, furniture, and all items that can be done in-house
- Paint as directed to include proper preparation and clean up
- Assist supervisor and engineers on shut downs for repairs
- Maintain logs on all work performed
- Assist other engineers when needed
- Receive material and store in supply room
- Must be able to stoop, bend, reach and climb a ladder
- Must be able to lift, pull, push, up to or over 25 pounds or move, assist and/or lift items or awkward weights
- Perform all duties as required of the maintenance engineer position and comply with all Oasis and Villa d’Este rules, policies and guidelines
- Follow through and complete all other assignments as directed by Supervisor, Chief Engineer or Management
Qualifications: Must have three (3) years of experience performing minor electrical, plumbing, painting and general maintenance repairs. Experience also includes preventive maintenance on all mechanical equipment. Must speak and understand English.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
