Job Description & Skill Requirement:
1D Simulation Engineer - Job Description
- Develop and maintain 1D simulation models for vehicle systems such as thermal, HVAC, energy, and cooling loops.
- Perform steady‑state and transient simulations to evaluate system performance under various operating conditions.
- Support component sizing, system architecture decisions, and trade‑off studies using simulation results.
- Correlate simulation models with bench and vehicle test data to improve model accuracy and robustness.
- Conduct sensitivity and "what‑if" analyses to identify key performance drivers and optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with design, controls, and test teams to align simulation assumptions and results.
- Support creation of test plans and instrumentation requirements based on simulation insights.
- Document models, assumptions, and results in clear technical reports and presentations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of simulation methods, tools, and best practices.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
