Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Farm Dairy Tractor Cow Operator to join our agricultural team. This role involves operating farm machinery to assist with dairy farm operations, ensuring the health and productivity of our dairy cows, and maintaining efficient farm workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for sustainable farming practices.
Duties
- Operate tractors and other farm machinery to manage feeding, milking, and herd movement processes
- Assist with the daily care of dairy cows, including feeding, cleaning, and health monitoring
- Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and basic troubleshooting
- Support herd management activities such as moving cows between pastures or barns
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
- Assist with record keeping related to herd health, feed schedules, and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with farm staff to optimize milk production and animal welfare
Experience
- Prior experience operating farm machinery, particularly tractors, is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of dairy farming practices and animal husbandry is a plus
- Ability to perform physical tasks in outdoor environments and work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines
- Must be reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
