Community Living Alternatives provides 24/7 services supporting the independent living of developmentally and intellectually disabled adults. As a Direct Service Worker with CLA, you'll build relationships, improve the quality of life and serve people in need of companionship and care. Your goal will be to assist individuals with daily functions, such as, but not limited to: personal hygiene/grooming, meal prep, light exercise, transportation, social interactions and housekeeping. Your compassion and diligence as a caregiver will bring joy into the lives of the clients you work with. Experience implementing Behavior Support Plans helpful.
Various shifts available. Experience as a Caregiver, Direct Support Professional (DSP), Direct Service Worker (DSW), and Personal Care Attendant (PCA) is preferred, but not required. Training is provided.
Must be 18 and over. Must have a valid driver's license and own transportation. Must have car insurance with your name listed as policy holder, or proof that you are a driver included in the policy. Must be available to work nights and weekends.
Full-time employee benefits include paid vacation, sick time, and paid holidays. Part-time and full-time employees receive $0.26 per mile for consumer activities.
