Position Type: 4-Month Contract (Strong potential to convert to permanent Full-Time)
Compensation Range: $50 - 58 per hour
Are you a process-driven MarTech professional who loves transforming operational chaos into streamlined, automated workflows? Our client is seeking an autonomous, proactive, and assertive Marketing Technology & Enablement Consultant to help optimize our Growth Marketing operations.
This role moves completely beyond simple creative execution. Instead, you will act as an internal change agent, auditing legacy workflows, interviewing busy marketing stakeholders, writing ironclad SOPs, and identifying concrete use cases where automation and Generative AI can eliminate manual friction. We need a solutions-oriented thinker who can confidently walk into ambiguous processes, push back on legacy habits, and establish scalable, repeatable structures.
Responsibilities:
- Workflow Audit & Documentation (50-60% of focus): Sit down with cross-functional growth marketing teams (digital media, email, media buyers) to dissect, map out, and document end-to-end operational workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Drive AI & Automation Adoption: Act as the subject matter resource for process innovation. Identify manual bottlenecks, make concrete recommendations on where to apply AI/automation, and partner with technical builders to execute integrations.
- Creative Project Management: Manage the end-to-end creative workflow for digital channels, building out structured project plans, timelines, and milestones from intake through final approvals.
- Cross-Functional Change Management: Partner intensely with non-technical marketing stakeholders and creative teams, running optimization projects independently and driving consensus without requiring heavy hand-holding.
- Scale Tooling Capabilities: Build playbooks, templates, and automated connection blocks (e.g., cross-tool integrations) to maximize the team's efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of direct experience in marketing operations, creative operations, marketing technology (MarTech), or a closely related growth marketing domain.
- Advanced, daily proficiency in modern workflow and project management ecosystem tools (such as Airtable, Monday.com, Wrike, or Asana), including experience mapping out visual roadmaps in tools like Figma or Miro.
- Demonstrated experience building operational automations and platform-to-platform integrations (e.g., Airtable to Slack, Airtable to Figma) to reduce manual tasks.
- Active, real-world experience experimenting with and applying Generative AI platforms (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or custom AI agents) to streamline operational outputs. Note: Light usage like basic email editing is not sufficient.
- Prior experience working inside a fast-paced, digital-first growth marketing or internal creative agency ecosystem.
- Experience building customized team playbooks for automation scaling.
