About the Opportunity
A growing and fast-paced restoration organization is seeking a highly organized and financially driven Payroll & Collections Manager to oversee payroll processing, collections, accounts receivable/payable, and operational financial workflows within a busy restoration division.
This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives behind the scenes keeping operations organized, compliant, profitable, and moving efficiently. We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional who understands restoration operations, insurance workflows, and financial accountability.
Responsibilities:
Financial Oversight & Collections
- Manage accounts receivable, collections, and payment follow-up efforts
- Track insurance claim payments and communicate with carriers and adjusters
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Monitor job profitability and assist with budget oversight
- Help negotiate payment resolutions with customers and vendors when necessary
Payroll & Compliance
- Process payroll accurately and on time
- Maintain payroll records, direct deposits, and employee documentation
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations
- Conduct weekly audits and reporting for financial accuracy and accountability
Restoration Operations Support
- Support project coordination, scheduling, and administrative workflows
- Review estimates, documentation, and job files for accuracy
- Assist project managers and operations teams throughout the job lifecycle
- Help improve internal systems and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Experience in payroll, collections, AR/AP, or restoration operations
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Familiarity with insurance claims and restoration workflows preferred
- Experience with QuickBooks, Xactimate, Microsoft Office, or similar systems
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Backgrounds
Candidates with experience in any of the following industries are encouraged to apply:

Additional certifications such as Adjuster Licensing, Notary Public, or compliance-related experience are a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
