Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Dining Room Manager to lead our hospitality team and oversee all aspects of the dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, restaurant operations, and team leadership. As the Dining Room Manager, you will ensure exceptional customer service, efficient restaurant operations, and adherence to food safety standards. Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and optimal guest satisfaction.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to maintain a motivated and professional team.
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to meet established standards.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Control inventory levels, monitor food safety practices, and manage food handling procedures.
- Conduct staff interviews, performance evaluations, and ongoing training to enhance team capabilities.
- Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, sanitation standards, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in casual dining or fine dining environments.
- Extensive knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Demonstrated ability in supervising teams, managing shifts, and leading hospitality teams effectively.
- Strong background in food safety management, inventory control, and food handling procedures.
- Experience with catering, banquet services, or hotel food service is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff and foster a positive team environment.
- Familiarity with budgeting, profit analysis, and cost control measures within a restaurant setting.
- Previous assistant manager or managerial experience in fast food or quick service restaurants is preferred.
