Responsibilities:
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists during a range of procedures, including root canal therapy, extractions, impressions, and temporary crown fabrication, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort.
- Maintain and update patients’ dental EMR accurately.
- Maintain compliance with dental office protocols, including weekly spore testing, Quarterly waterline testing, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations, to ensure a safe and regulatory-compliant environment.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment to ensure a safe, sanitary, and compliant clinical environment.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide clear postoperative care instructions to support their recovery and long-term dental health.
- Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care and a seamless clinical experience.

Qualifications:
- 3-5 consistent years’ experience in the dental field
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Understanding of dental radiography and ability to take and process X-rays (if state-certified).
- Familiarity with dental Dentrix software for scheduling, record-keeping, and insurance processing.
-EFDA certification is a plus!
