We are looking for Direct Care Staff, 21 years of age to join our team and provide assistance with adolescents who engage in problem behaviors. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance with daily living activities, helping to develop life skills, and promoting independence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle challenging situations with patience and understanding. Responsibilities:
- Mentor individuals with daily living activities such as maintaining hygiene and cleanliness of home.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals in need.
- Ensure the safety of individuals by monitoring their activities and environment.
- Implement behavior management plans.
- Document progress and changes in the individual's condition.
- Assist with transportation to medical appointments and other activities.
- Provide assistance with medication administration.
- Maintain cleanliness of home and ensure youth are doing their chores.
