Hiring: Licensed public adjuster skilled in property claims, estimates, inspections, and carrier negotiation.
Get in on the ground floor of a fast-growing public adjusting firm.
“My name is Ryan Rooke, founder of Ocean State Adjustments. I’m a licensed public adjuster and a long-time Rhode Islander. In 2022, I started OSA because I had experience in construction and got tired of insurance carriers shortchanging policyholders. Property owners need someone in their corner who reads every line of the policy and delivers a payout that matches it. That’s the job.
So, what’s in it for you? We’re growing fast, and our referral network is expanding every month. This is an actual opportunity to move your career forward with a firm that’s going places and take home more money every day.
I’m looking for an experienced licensed public adjuster who knows how policies work, will go line by line with a carrier, and treats policyholders with professional courtesy and warmth. Take a look below for specifics.
- Ryan Rooke
Here’s what I can offer you:
- A steady flow of claims from a network that’s growing every month.
- Real autonomy. Run your work and run your life.
- Straightforward, performance-based pay. It's a contract position—5% on every completed claim you close.
- A founder who has your back and is invested in your success.
And here’s what I’m looking for:
If you can say yes to all seven questions, you’ll be a good fit.
1. Do I hold an active public adjuster license in Rhode Island or Massachusetts?
2. Do I own my own vehicle?
3. Do I know property insurance policies inside and out—the coverage, forms, and fine print?
4. Can I produce a thorough estimate informed by a background in construction standards and defend every line item, from RCV to ACV?
5. Do I have a reputation for building solid relationships with policyholders and contractors?
6. Can I handle several complex claims at once without letting a detail slip?
7. Do I know exactly what I’m looking for when I show up for an inspection?
Bring your license, your work ethic, and a willingness to learn how we operate. The rest takes care of itself.
Good practices I like to see:
- Be diligent, organized, and deliberate. Success is in the details.
- Do what you say and be straight, with clients and with me.
- Document every loss thoroughly, top to bottom, before you leave the property.
- Treat every policyholder like they’re your only client.
- Keep people in the loop. What’s happening, what’s needed, and what comes next.
Call (401) 408-6397 if you like what you hear and you’re ready to make more money. I look forward to hearing from you.
