Starting at $18.00 per hour, plus shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts.
General Responsibilities:

Clean Operating Rooms and Clinical Rooms and disinfect them

Maintains carpet and tiled floors by using heavy equipment to clean, strip, and wax floors on a rotating basis.

Cleans, buffs and washes hard surfaces (furniture, walls, chairs, tables)

Performs routing cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, cafeterias, patios, and outside areas.

Sweeps, mops, scrubs, polishes floors and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space, etc.

Performs terminal/detailed cleaning of all patient care areas by following checklists or as instructed.

Empties, handles, and transports trash, linen, garbage containers and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal areas.

Assists Facilities Management with the maintenance and upkeep of the grounds (snow removal, garbage pickup, slight handyman work)

Ability to work on his/her own with normal supervision.

Attends training programs and assists in training other employees.

Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.

Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.

Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.

Applies and performs all work in accordance to OSHA and related local safety requirements.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Experience/Knowledge:
-
High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
-
2 years of housekeeping and floor tech experience preferred.
-
Experience in all phases of floor and carpet care required.

Knowledge of cleaning agents, equipment and methods of soil removal.
