Job Description
· Support manufacturing engineering initiatives within a heavy assembly production environment
· Analyze assembly processes and develop comprehensive work instructions to ensure operational consistency
· Drive process optimization efforts to enhance efficiency and reduce waste across manufacturing operations
· Author and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to uphold quality and safety standards
· Lead and execute Continuous Improvement (CI) projects to advance operational performance
· Enter and manage routers within the JD Edwards ERP system to maintain accurate production data
· Oversee and manage all Process Flow FMEAs to identify and mitigate potential failure modes
· Handle quoting activities to support business development and customer engagement
· Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD to design fixtures and develop plant layout configurations
Key Requirements
· Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BS Eng required); assembly process focus preferred, but all manufacturing disciplines considered
· Minimum of 2 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience
