Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled regional Truck Driver to join our dry van team. The candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over various distances while operating commercial vehicles. Schedule is Mon-Friday and home on the weekends.
Duties
- Safely operate a commercial truck, transport and deliver goods to designated locations
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Maintain accurate driving logs
- Communicate with dispatchers and team members
- Ensure timely and professional deliveries
Skills
- Ability to operate and maneuver semi-trucks, dry vans etc.
- Strong defensive driving skills and ability to operate in various road/weather conditions
- knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of service (HOS) and safety protocols
- Ability to use GPS and route planning tools for efficient deliveries
- Excellent time management to meet delivery schedules
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $0.65 - $0.75 per mile
