Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Perform detailed cleaning of bathrooms, including disinfecting fixtures, mirrors, and replenishing toiletries for guest safety and comfort.
- Ensure all public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms are tidy, well-maintained, and inviting for guests and visitors.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during cleaning tasks to ensure safety for yourself and guests.
- Lift heavy items such as mattresses or furniture when necessary using proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury.
- Follow established procedures for the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and custodial equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning standards is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and moving furniture or supplies.
- Experience using cleaning tools and equipment such as vacuums, mops, buffers, or steam cleaners is advantageous.
- Knowledge of proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety during cleaning operations.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality cleanliness standards in a fast-paced environment.
