Core Responsibilities
This role encompasses a variety of essential tasks and supplementary functions designed to ensure operational excellence.

Oversee and synchronize the operations of the mechanical and electrical assembly teams.

Assist in the creation of human and capital resource strategies for both service and assembly functions.

Establish standardized manufacturing protocols for equipment and tool production at Persico USA, Inc. to ensure consistency with global company benchmarks.

Mentor and guide team leads and supervisors to enhance operational workflows by applying the plan-do-check-act methodology.

Help maintain a safe and compliant working environment by ensuring all projects adhere to safety regulations, labor laws, and technical specifications.

Grant final approval or delegate authority for the verification of equipment and assembly process checklists.

Offer technical insight and leadership to identify, evaluate, and solve complex service and assembly challenges.

Design and support initiatives aimed at driving continuous improvement across Persico USA, Inc.

Stay informed on emerging industry trends and manufacturing knowledge to keep operations at the forefront of best practices.

Collaborate with department leads to verify the feasibility of assembly processes and confirm that necessary resources are in place.

Contribute to the evaluation and authorization of manufacturing process plans and project designs.

Spearhead the growth of customer service initiatives at Persico USA, Inc., focusing on warranty and post-sale support.

Facilitate customer support through effective scheduling, planning, and on-site service visits.

Foster team growth and boost morale by conducting regular coaching sessions and acknowledging collective successes.

Track key performance indicators and implement corrective measures to ensure targets are consistently met.

Execute performance evaluations for direct reports in alignment with established human resources guidelines.

Engage with suppliers to identify and evaluate new materials, standards, and practices to optimize assembly procedures.

Develop and manage a preventive maintenance schedule for all machinery, issuing work orders and providing guidance to maintenance staff.

Handle additional responsibilities as they arise that are pertinent to this role.
Qualifications
Required educational background:

Technical diploma complemented by at least five years of leadership experience within a manufacturing engineering environment.
Preferred credentials:

A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Possession of a P.Eng designation is considered a plus.

Holding a PMP certification is viewed as an advantage.
Experience:

A minimum of five years in a comparable professional capacity.
Technical proficiencies:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience with MS Project.

Experience with MS Visio.
Work Environment
The role involves a blend of time spent between the office and the production shop floor.
Physical Demands
The position involves regular use of office technology and computers, with periods of standing and walking required in accordance with ergonomic standards.
Reporting Structure
This role operates under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager.
