Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of employees, fostering a positive work environment focused on teamwork, training, and development.
- Oversee daily store operations including sales management, inventory control, merchandising, and cash handling to ensure smooth functioning.
- Manage employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and onboarding processes to build a strong, capable staff.
- Supervise shift management duties such as scheduling, staffing levels, and task delegation to optimize productivity.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries promptly and maintaining high standards of phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, inventory control, and shrink reduction efforts.
- Utilize POS systems efficiently for sales transactions and cash handling procedures while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Full-time work schedule, working on weekends as needed
Experience
- Proven management experience in retail environments with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Strong background in supervising teams with excellent communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with inventory management systems, POS technology, cashiering procedures, and retail math calculations.
- Familiarity with employee orientation programs, interviewing techniques, recruiting processes and efficient labor scheduling.
- Prior experience in retail sales management including merchandising, pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and promotional activities.
- Demonstrated ability to handle customer service issues effectively while maintaining professionalism and phone etiquette.
- Management experience in shift supervision along with organizational skills necessary for multitasking in fast-paced settings.
