Allison Voice (AllisonVoice.com) is hiring a Local Sales Representative to help small businesses stop missing calls, losing leads, and sending customers to voicemail.
We build AI voice agents for small businesses. Allison answers calls, has natural conversations, books appointments, qualifies leads, routes callers, answers common questions, and gives business owners professional phone coverage without the cost of a full-time receptionist or traditional answering service.
Our target customers are local service businesses where the phone still matters: plumbers, electricians, contractors, HVAC companies, roofers, repair shops, salons, bakeries, and other owner-operated businesses that depend on inbound calls.
This is a relationship-driven sales role. You will be responsible for reaching out to small business owners, understanding how they currently handle phone calls, explaining Allison Voice in simple terms, booking demos, and helping qualified prospects take the next step.

This helps us understand how you communicate over the phone, how you explain your sales experience, and how comfortable you are engaging with the kind of technology you’ll be representing.
Responsibilities
- Actively reach out to small business owners through phone calls, email, local networking, referrals, LinkedIn, and face-to-face meetings where appropriate.
- Introduce Allison Voice to local businesses and explain how AI voice agents can help them answer more calls, capture more leads, book more appointments, and reduce interruptions for busy staff.
- Develop and nurture relationships with business owners, office managers, contractors, and local operators.
- Identify new sales opportunities within local small-business markets, especially home services, trades, professional services, healthcare, appointment-based businesses, and other phone-driven businesses.
- Track outreach, follow-ups, conversations, and deal progress using a CRM or similar sales-tracking system.
- Follow up consistently with prospects and move qualified opportunities through the sales pipeline.
- Share feedback from the market so our team can improve messaging, product features, and sales materials.
Experience and Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales, small business sales, local business outreach, field sales, appointment setting, account management, or business development.
- Comfortable speaking directly with business owners and decision-makers.
- Strong communication skills, especially over the phone.
- Ability to explain technology in clear, practical language.
- Organized, persistent, and comfortable managing follow-ups.
- Experience with outbound calling, warm calling, prospecting, local networking, or referral-based sales.
- Experience selling to contractors, plumbers, electricians, HVAC companies, roofers, home services, dental offices, law firms, clinics, salons, or other local service businesses is a strong plus.
- Experience in SaaS, telecom, VoIP, marketing services, merchant services, business services, or AI-driven products is helpful but not required.
- A genuine interest in helping small businesses grow, save time, and serve customers better.
