Chi University has been dedicated to providing the best quality education to veterinarians in Integrative Veterinary Medicine through innovative distance learning and on-site lab practice since 1998.
We are looking for a full-time associate to join our IT & academic teams to help support the staff, students, and instructors' needs for computer, network, information technology, and on-site/distance learning.
Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with occasional weekend shifts due to onsite classes. Overtime may be available.
Main Duties:
- Assist IT help desk for instructors, students, and staff’s IT questions and troubleshoot computer or IT issues remotely or in-person.
- Assist video recording of lectures and labs for distant learning students.
- Assist with video editing, audio enhancement, and rendering.
- Assist inventory management of IT equipment.
- Assist in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting software and IT hardware (e.g. printers, memory, hard drives, network switches/routers and etc) for the school and affiliated organization.
- Assist with on-site student services and bookstore operations.
- Proofread closed captioning for online lectures.
- Other IT and computer-related tasks assigned by the supervisors.
Required Education and Work Experience:
- High school diploma or higher.
- Passionate in learning computer systems, software, hardware, information technology and assist other people. Attention to detail.
- Minimum 3 months experience working with computer systems, software, hardware or network devices. Video editing experience is a plus. Sufficient training will be provided to the new hire for succeeding in this position.
- Be able to lift 50lb or more.
Rate: $18.00 to $20.00/hour
